Youth Ministries

Regular Programs:

Corps Cadets – A Bible study and leadership training program for teenagers.

Young People’s Legion – Activity time for teenagers where the focus is on having fun in a Christian environment. Usually there is devotional time as well.

Sunbeams – A character development program for girls from age 6 to 12.

Explorers – A character development program for boys from age 6 to 12.

Creative Arts - Program for teens to discover creative ways to express themselves and to share the love of God with others.


Seasonal or Occasional Programs:

Summer Camps: During the summer The Salvation Army offers a variety of camping opportunities for kids at beautiful Camp Arnold in Eatonville, Washington.

Rallies: A couple of times each year our children join with children from other Salvation Army Corps for a time of fun and learning.

Youth Councils: Each spring, our teens enjoy a weekend retreat at Camp Arnold in Eatonville, Washington.

Bible Bowl: During the winter and spring months our youth have the opportunity to enter a Bible quizzing competition. Winning in the Northwest area grants the opportunity to go the final competition in the Los Angeles area, including a trip to Disneyland.
